Online healthcare modules and simulation
Task description:
You will be expected to satisfactorily complete modules to demonstrate critical thinking and decision making in diverse and complex healthcare situations across the lifespan. You will need to analyse situations in these modules and undertake a holistic understanding of these situations drawing on prior knowledge and skills. In these National Health Priorities, you will be expected to use and understand the requirements for integrated knowledge and skills, including communication, collaboration, leadership, ethical and culturally safe approaches to healthcare, and inter-professional collaboration. Once you have worked through four of the five National Health Priority Area online modules and watched the on-line simulation, you will be required to read and complete the case-based scenario workbook questions.
What you need to do:
This is an individual assessment task. Each student must: Review the knowledge and skills relating to the National Health Priority Areas of: Cardiovascular health Dementia Arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions Injury and prevention control Asthma Complete the online modules for these National Health Priority Areas Work through the workbook for Mr Jankovic, considering the Clinical Reasoning Cycle, watching the videos and reviewing the clinical documents. Read through the questions at the end of the workbookfor Mr Jankovic. Ensure all answers are supported with evidence-based literature.
Do NOT replicate the questions, just identify by number. You MUST attempt all questions. References must be provided – remember no reference provided = 0 marks. Include a reference list at the end. Word count is up to 2000 (+/- 10%) words; responses beyond this will not be marked. You will be awarded 10 marks for academic writing and quality of references and reference formatting- see CRA in your task booklet.

How will I be assessed:
You need to achieve a minimum 50% pass mark. If your grade is between 40-49% you will be required to resubmit addressing feedback provided. Any further resubmissions will not be possible, an unsatisfactory grade will be awarded if the grade is less than 50% for re-submission. Papers that score less than 40% on the first submission will receive an unsatisfactory grade and will therefore be unsatisfactory in the unit. There will be no opportunity for resubmission.
