PURPOSE:
In this experiment you will examine a simple network using DC power supplies to illustrate the working of the mesh and nodal analysis methods in electrical circuits. The objectives are:
To revise the mesh analysis for electric circuits.
To revise the nodal analysis for electric circuits.
To calculate the currents and voltages for a given circuit.
To construct the same circuit.
To compare calculated and measured values for currents and voltages.
PRE-WORK:
PART 1: Nodal Analysis
Refer to the circuit in Figure 1 below. Use the nodal analysis to calculate Va and Vb.

Use Va and Vb to find the voltages V1, V2, V3, V4, V5 and currents I1, I2, I3, I4 and I5 in the circuit of Figure 1.
Tabulate the calculated results in Table 1a.
